ambient air temp sensor

Hi all has anyone ever replaced their outside air temp sensor.Mine isn't working and it looks like i might have to take the bumper off.Lou

Maybe it is not the sensor?

I had body work done on the left fender Picked the car up and no outside reading on mylink radio it looks like it is not plugged in the dealership reflashed the radio still no reading

Yep.
Damaged wire or connector or just plain unplugged.
Do you get any temperature display? 0.0? 140?

Thanks for replying.No display for temp at all can't really see the back of the sensor wires.i was just wondering if there is an easier way to access it other than take the bumper off.it's a $5.00 part $100 repair

Hmm...
I suspect if the wire(s) were open or shorted or if the sensor was defective you would still have some temperature display.
