Anyone have feedback about Town Fair Tire?

Would love to hear from people who purchased, and had their tires installed, at Town Fair Tire: Town Fair Tire - Shop For Your Tires Today!

Since their installation is included in the tire price, it's a pretty attractive solution, because elsewhere installation is an extra $100. Plus I can't have the tires shipped since I live in an apartment (and I can only picture tires being delivered to my office!)

I'm a bit put off by the awful Yelp reviews, to be honest...

For me it's either this or Costco, which I'd vastly prefer, but they only have 3 options for Sonic tires: Blizzaks which are great but snow only; Michelin Primacy™ MXV4 which are great but a bit steep at $120; and Bridgestone - Potenza RE960A/S which are performance tires and not so great in the snow, if the comments are to be believed.

I usually have tirerack ship tires to me or to a local installer I prefer. Just find a tire shop with goof reviews and go through them. They may even match the tirerackprice. Although keep in mind that they will match it including shipping, not just the cost of tires along from the 'rack.

Tire Rack isn't always a great deal, especially once you factor in the shipping charges.

Town Fair has free mounting. Balancing and stems/tpms seals are not included., our installed price includes that.

I don't want to get to detailed here, or sound like I'm trying to sell stuff on here since I sell tires as part of my job, but if you have any certain types you want, I can get you competitive information via my connections with "The Boys". We have wholesale accounts with Tire Rack, and many others besides our normal sources.

We constantly see tires that people buy from Tire Rack that get delivered to us, that we could have sold them cheaper, for the exact same tire, but either our website doesn't show them, or they don't ask.

I have bought 2 sets of tires from Town Fair Tire.

Here in Maine they did a great job. my 2002 Dodge Ram and my son's 2007 Hundai Sonata...great job, great advice and they rotate them for free. I recommended them to my boss for his Subaru Legacy and he was very pleased with their service as well.

I think they have their stuff together for sure!

Nothing wrong with town fair. Just have to learn to accept the Lowe class. I quit going there because they wouldn't install a tire that they fixed for me when I got there at 4:00 on the dot. I actually had to use their jack to put my tire back on myself.
