I'm at around 34K on my 1.4T LTZ 6-speed manual.. Love the car, I beat the piss out of it and still get 36+ MPG haha..
But today I heard the metal indicator on one of the front brake pads scraping on the disk. Haven't even looked at it yet but I'm pretty sure the honeymoon is over. Gonna pick up auto-zone lifetime warranty pads and start off right before I even bother taking the wheels off to check, replacing brake pads is inevitable at my 40K a year anyway..
Have no issue going at it without a manual for brake pads, but it's nice to verify there's nothing special to think about. Anyone have experience with an electric manual on these yet?
