AWD Chevy Sonic?

Is this possible? A bit of research points me toward mating the Chevy Trax AWD to the Chevy Sonic. I know that major modifications would be needed for the placement of the underworks but does this seem like something that could be done?

Looking for input as I want to do this in the future.

It would be a very difficult procedure especially because of the electronic rear diff
