Best way to repair dent

So someone was parked in a crummy spot in my complex forcing me to back into my tiny garage. Results shown below Now I'm looking at $500 through my insurance or ~$800 out of pocket from a couple estimates I got. Any one have any ideas? It's a bit tough to see, and I haven't gone ripping out wheel well liners yet, and there's no access from removing the tail light, so the area seems pretty well encased...

You're not going to find a magical cheap fix for that, unfortunately. Either slap a bandaid on it ($.99) or pay to have it fixed properly.

I have ALWAYS...ALWAYS found it better to leave it to a pro. Every time I've tried dent removal....new dents!

Right...I mean if its hollow you could try sticking your hand up there and pushing it out..but
it probably won't work.

Yeah, I was worried about that. The body shops I took it to all said the same thing: Since an edge got pinched and it's one solid piece that runs from the point of contact all the way up and across to the front of the car, the entire thing would have to be removed, making it a huge job if even possible."

Don't let the body shops talk you into despair. Call a few car dealerships and find out who does their paintless dent repair. The guy that does our lot work makes miracles (or at least makes something bad less obvious).

I think a good pdr person could work most of that out for about $100-200
