Black Sonic --- Green or Blue Plasti-dip?

Looking to do some Plasti-dipping to my Sonic. The rear light rings and spoiler will be first to go.

I'm trying to decide between the Blaze Green and the Blaze Blue. My gf did two pics in Photoshop for me quick. What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards the green, but the blue is tempting.

Also, I searched, but if anyone has any pics of a black Sonic with Plasti-dipped accents please post pics or send me links!

Eh idk. I like the blue but it doesnt really match. The green looks ok but kinda girlie. Id go with the blue.

Does it have to be the Blaze Blue?

I did just the regular blue, I think it looks better than being so bright.

They both could look good IMO, but you'd definitely need more accents to pull everything together. As is there's too many colors playing against each other.

Red Tails, Blue/Green Rings, Gold Bowtie, Silver Wheels, Black Car, Blue/Green Spoiler.

I'd recommend:

Completely vinyl/p-dip (black) your bowties (no chrome)
Paint chrome grille blue or green
Vinyl/p-dip (black) chrome window accents
Tint tails

^^+1^^. Best thing I did was blackout all my chrome, makes it look like a different vehicle.

Thanks for the recommendations and tips guys, it's much appreciated and I have some things to think about now.. I was planning on plasti-dipping more than just what the photo showed, just did that to get a rough idea..

I ended up ordering the Blaze Green. I also picked up 4 cans of Anthracite, so I'll probably be doing my wheels soon too!

Figured I would give you guys an update. I really like how it's turned out so far

Plasti-dipped
-Back end in Blaze Green
-Wheels are in Anthracite

Windows
- 20% rear / 35% front

Will still be plasti-dipping the two rectangle chrome pieces and the four headlight rings in the front Blaze Green and using Anthracite on the window trim.

And maybe the front handles and just the handle part on the back doors, not the entire black area around the handle. and maybeee the badges? idk

yes, front handles, and the outer ring on headlights, make the inner one anthracite. Rear badge green, front one anthracite with the grill trim green.

Hmm...I like the suggestions. I'll post updated pics once I find the time to make the changes :]


What about putting a big Monster energy sticker on the driver/passenger door? haha, jk.
