Hello all.
Looking into doing the trifecta tune as well as the Forge BOV. I am currently running the ZZP highflow catback with res delete, as well as an MPFab CAI.
My question is, if I DON"T tune the car after installing an atmospheric BOV, but bypass the BPV, will it still trigger codes?
I'm assuming because the BPV "monitors" airflow on from the wastegate to the manifold, if you bypass it, it will constantly see the value it is looking for as it cycles. The MAF is before the cold side on the turbo, but the BOV links the cold side to manifold pressure, venting it out when the throttle slams shut. This would result in a metered air error code, potentially causing a rich code as well.
Might have answered my own question with this one lol, but I'm going to hit that submit button anyways and see what the masses have to say.
