Bowtie change

I am looking for a different color of bowtie and found out GM doesn't make them. Would like to find somewhere to go to look at options. Carbon fiber would be awesome! How easy is it to swap and approx how much$?

Did you search first?! Believe it or not it has been discussed quite a bit and is most people's first appearance change whether it's done with vinyl or plastidip.

Most people here that have changed bowtie colors have used vinyl or plastic dip. There is a company that makes replacements in chrome, black, and I think carbon fiber for $135 interested I will try to find the source tomorrow.

Look at my build thread for the carbon fiber vinyl bowties. Awesome quality and they'll probably be on there for the life of the car unless some random thing happens where they start to peel. Been through a lot and it's an actual sticker and looks way better unlike cheap plastidip. Plus its alot easier than plastidip

I paid like $20 on eBay for them, seems expensive yes, but they are good quality and you get 2 sets just incase you need another set.

You can actually replace the inner color of the bowtie with black.

The company that Chevy subs the manufacturing out to sells a black replacement for about $100 bucks, I think that's for a pair.

I don't think they are RS sizes, you'd have to do some tally tally if you have an RS.

I don't have the link handy, it's somewhere in here, I think. Can also get them on Chevy mall website. The manufacturer is ABD I think...

I used vinyl to cover my bowties. Amazon had a whole bunch of different styles of bowties. Mine were carbon fiber.

I'm getting my paint touched up and some work done so while its in paint I am having them do the bowtie centers orange
