Briggs intro

Hello all.

New to the forum. I do not own a Sonic or even a Cruze. Im currently building a "Locost". Also know as a Lotus Super 7, as well as a Caterham.

Reason I joined this forum. I plan on using a 1.4 ecotec. You can use a 98 Isuzu rodeo bellhousing and a mustang T-5 trans to make it a RWD setup.

I'm in the market for a 1.4 Ecotec engine. There are quite a few out there for really cheap in price. Between $600-$1200.

I'll prob be picking some of your brains when that time comes for me to buy the engine and wire it up in the car.

This is the design this far that I have been working on with a friend.

This is where I'm at with the frame right now. Started building about 3 weeks ago. Making decent progress.

Thanks gents. I wrecked my ford the other day. Damn black ice. Waiting to find out if it's totaled or not.



Hit the guard rail basically head on. Huge patch of black ice, car got sideways on me and didn't have time to really do anything. I feel fine tho. Focus took it like a champ, no airbags deployed tho.

Next time though, drive a Sonic. Our cars are impervious to black ice!
