So, wiper was frozen to the rear window and I turned it on. As soon as I noticed it wasn't moving, I turned it off. Just washed the window with snow.
Couple days later I washed the car and noticed the wiper was hanging funny. Decided to test it and it turned on, but the wiper dropped and yay! At least I'll have a clean Chevy emblem.
So, question, anyone ever replaced the motor? Had this happen and know what to do? What it is? Stripped gear? Is it DIY friendly? Why pay someone for something you can do yourself? Of course it's -20C outside and the garage isn't heated...
Thanks...
