buttons and indicators

2012 sonic here. I was driving yesterday and was asked about the two buttons by the cupholders. I explained and proceeded to demonstrate. I turned the child locks on and now they won't turn off. Am I missing something?

Next question: My left blinker indicator is not working. The outside blinkers are working fine. But the little arrow doesn't flash, even though I can hear the click. Is there a way to change the bulb or something to get it fixed?

I would DOUBT our IP bulbs are LED's. I'm sure GM took the cheaper route and they're little incandescent bulbs.... if you've warranty left, that's covered.

About the locks... the light stays on? Maybe a "reboot"...undo the positive battery cable for a few minutes, then reattach... weird

I haven't checked the display yet to see how easy it would be to replace the bulb.

Yes, it is strange. It just stays lit up and the back doors can't be opened. I will try a "reboot" this afternoon and see if it fixes it. Or.....is there a fuse I could pull?

sure there's a fuse...not sure which one though...manual will have that info.

Agreed, kill battery and try again. If not, dealer prob.

Disconnecting the battery didn't work. I pulled the child lock and traction control switch assembly out and took it apart. Apparently the button was not making good contact with the circuit board. I had to maneuver it so that I could disable the child locks. So the locks are disengaged and this can be an FYI to anyone who experiences this problem.

Edit:
I also took the cluster apart to find that the blinkers are in fact LEDs.
