Please help. I don't know what to do. My daughters car will randomly stall on her while she is driving in traffic. Almost sounds like the car is possessed. The first thing that happens is that the radio will go on an off. Next, the door locks will lock and then unlock. Finally the car will completely stall and she is unable to even remove the key for a short period.
We have tried a new battery, Cleaning the terminals, and replacing a purge valve (had a code). None of this has helped. The only thing that seems to help is when I disconnect the battery for a few hours. Once I do this, it usually buys her a few days until it acts up again. I am thinking its the ECU. Any thoughts? She has a 2012 Chevy Sonic 1.8 L Flex fuel.
