Cell phone where to put?

I put it in my pocket. I have my Bluetooth set up. When my phone rings I answer it with a simple push button on the steering wheel, and hang up the same way. Speak just to the open car. There is a mic in the car. You hear it thru the speakers. The phone never needs to leave your pocket. Please don't say you need to hold your phone so you can text & drive. Not only is that as dangerous as driving under the influence, but it is just as illegal in some states. Matter of fact we can not even text and WALK in public, inside our city limits now. (not that this very well enforced yet)

I got a mount on amazon. Best cell phone mount IVe ever had. Doesn't move at all and the phone goes it and comes out really easy. And it can fit my gps too so I don't need to attack a different mount.

Clayjn---Yes I put my GPS unit down in the console by the shifter in the open area. Since I dont travel to places I dont know all that often, I dont use my TomTom all that often. You didnt say you wasted over $100 every single month to satisfy your GPS needs (when you was asking where we put our phones). I would suggest, if its GPS service that you desire, ditch your smart phone, buy a tracfone (that will save you $100 every month) and spend $200 buy a real good Garmin or TomTom. There deal is done.

first off I want a place to place my phone, my choice my preference. I want to find something to hold it where/when I need to use the gps. I do not want some suction cup arm stuck on the window. I loath those models. I use the gps in my smartphone with only cost me $35 a month for full service and the google maps in it is almost dead on. Its not like I texting a driving or watching a movie as I drive.

I've got an iPhone 5, not sure what you have but it fits in the side compartments next to the radio great for GPS.

I don't see what would keep the phone from falling out of the pockets on either side of the radio, especially when propped up like that.
Like one of the other posts here, I use Bluetooth and leave the phone in my daypack in the back seat. I do have a nice cupholder mount, but it's about useless in the Sonic due to the placement of the cupholders.

@BriG21. Of you could sir tell me the brand name of this bean bag cellphone holder? I can't locate one with out a HUGE base.

The phone isn't just propped up in there it fits in there tightly and does t move. It slides down from the top and is snug.
