Center console utility receptacle

Need to change my center console utility recepticle. It is corroded or at least remove it and clean it out. Not sure how I would go about doing this...any help?

If your talking about the power outlet for say a phone charger it shouldn't be too difficult. I can imagine just pulling out the console, unsrewing the ring from behind, then taking it out a swaping it with one from any parts store.
