Center Stack Squeaking & Rattling

My center stack creaks and squeaks and rattles at times while driving. The road doesn't even have to be particularly bumpy. I wonder if it is just with the 'piano black' trim in the RS. Just pressing on the center stack firmly causes it to squeak and creak wherever you touch it even while parked, so, not even considering taking it in for warranty service. Such hard cheap plastic. The noise comes and goes while driving. Not every time I drive either. When it happens it is super annoying on such an otherwise joyful owner experience. I push and pull lightly on the stack in different spots to 'get the squeaks out' when it happens and that seems to help slightly. I used to think it was only when the car was in the sun and the heat caused the plastic to expand, but it happens when it is cool too. Anyone experiencing this?

Update: After a couple months of jiggling, it seems gently pulling up/lifting of the v-shaped section above the climate controls gets rid of the rattle. Still annoying though.

That would drive me insane. I'm so grateful that mine is totally silent everywhere; its actually the tightest interior of any car I've owned.

I saw a tutorial somewhere on how to remove that v-shaped section and it seemed fairly simple. I'd open it up and see if anything is loose, and if nothing is loose, I'd apply a few small sticky pads behind that fascia in strategic places to tighten up where the back rests against whatever is behind it.

Thanks for the great tip. I should do it, but I have very limited mechanical inclination. I may give it a go when my quick-fix stops working. Or I'll have the dealer take it apart before the warranty expires.
