is anybody else getting a lound clunk when you backup with the wheels turn to the right .2013 1.4 ltz auto . ofcourse the dealer cant ever get the car to do it and also a rattle in the rear suspension can be heard over small bumps my car has 13500 miles ...
the rear...good luck on that, I've had it 5 times to dealership and 3 of those were for rattling rear noise. Keep an ear out (ha!) for if the noise is less or even goes away in warmer weather, and is much worse in cold.
I've looked high & low & never found the source.
You could have defective front sway bar links, but I've heard my suspension groan when I'm pulling at an angle into my driveway...only at that odd angle.

I also have the rear suspension rattle. My dealer apparently hires only hearing-impaired techs...between the rear rattle, squeaky clutch pedal, squeaky fan blower, and front end clunk, it's like a Conestoga wagon!

I have that same front pop happening now, 8k miles. I've only heard it twice but my girl says she hears it from time to time parking and such. Always done the same thing to me, backing up with the wheels turned, one pop. Feels more like a ball joint than an endlink but I haven't investigated. If I can get it to replicate often i'll drop it off at a dealership but now it's very random.
I had a rear rattle on occasion with small bumps, I was convinced it was a defective shock but when the dealer looked they said it was fine. As soon as I swapped to RS rear shocks, I haven't heard the noise since....
As far as the front pop, I get it in reverse with the wheels cranked one way or another maybe twice a month. Been that way since new. Doesn't matter if it's flat pavement, wet, snow, hill, etc.... Even after swapping to new endlinks, SS endlinks, and tightening everything down with the Eibach install, no changes..... Never bothers me but always been curious what it was. When I last researched it on here, some other dealers had told owners it was due to a slight shift in control arm because the frame/bushings are a slight oval shape on these cars. Haven't got a clue if that's true but makes some sense I guess.

sounds like sway bar endlinks to me. I had the same issue with mine back in the day. the gm ones are just cheap and plastic.
honestly, you can get some stainless steel ones from zzp for like 20 bucks. or you can just have the gm ones replaced. pretty sure warranty covers it, but I had my mechanic do it because last time I had my car at the dealership I caught one of the techs rip my car into reverse and grind my gears in the parking lot.

My suspension developed a faint front end rattle over the winter. Was sway bar endlink bushings.
I also had the front sway bar end links replaced no more noise, however the rear rattle has plagued me since new.5 trips to the dealer and no deal.they even said it was normal suspension noise.maybe for a GM, but my wife's KIA does not rattle.gonna try another dealer maybe i can talk them into new shocks.

There was a recall on sonics for a rattle in the suspension over bumps. I had my dealer fix this. i think something needed to be tightened down or replaced. i dont have the service paper in front of me

I doubt it was a recall. Most likely it was a TSB. If it was a recall you would have received a recall notice in the mail.
I had the clunking noise from the front end when going any type of bump on the road. It started a few months ago and the mechanic knew what it was, the sway bar nd links. I did some. Searching on here I found the K750519 MOOG ones recommended as an perfect fit and I had them installed today, no more noise. I will see how the car handles tomorrow going to work, it is about 60 miles each way.
