Cluster Issues-tach/speedo dropping-pwr steering light

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has seen anything like this. Started up my car this morning, TC light was flashing periodically, the tach needle would drop to 0-rpm, the speedometer would drop, and i had the power steering light come on for a second once.

I've had an issue a couple times where the car wouldn't turn over the first time i tried, then it would turn over with the anti-theft light, would start a third time and it would be fine. this has only ever happened once or twice.

Its also worth noting that my ultra gauge didn't turn on this morning. When i pulled in to work i turned off the sonic, pulled the ultragauge and restarted, let it run for a minute before shutting it down again with none of the above issues. To be honest im kind of hoping that something with the UG died and was causing issues,

The engine had no loss of rpm, everything was functioning correctly mechanically.

I welcome any input anyone might have on this. Hopefully it was an UG issue and it will be fine on the drive home later

My issue was caused by a bad ultra-gauge. Must have shorted somewhere on the pcb is my guess. I pulled the gauge out when i got to work one day when it happened and havent had an issue since. Switched to mechanical gauges

Damn, I thought that was the issue at first and even after removing the UG I still have the issue.

Thanks Netty, but I've taken the vehicle to the dealer and unfortunately my warranty ended weeks shy of when I could get it in for the issue I am having. They said they could see if it was having problems but didn't know what the cause could be and I don't have the money for the dealership to just throw random parts at the car till they find the solution. I'm going to try a couple more thing and If that doesn't work I'll most likely sell the car and get the heck out of Chevy's.
