Converting Videos for Playback

Hi all!

So, I have been having a lot of trouble playing back videos via USB in my car. I have been using mainly music videos (because they are quick and easy to download/convert) to figure it out. I have tried various formats (mp4, mpg, xvid, wmf, avi) all of which *claim* to be supported in MyLink on the Sonic website. However, whenever I play one of the videos I almost always get a "file type not supported" message. In the 5 months I have had the car I have only gotten 3 or 4 videos to work...

Has anyone else had this problem, and (hopefully) figured out a way to solve it?

Are there more specifics than simply the file type I need to be aware of?

- PS, photos seem to work fine- off the same USB flash drive.

Divx or .avi are the only ones I've seen it work on. But it's got Divx built into it..

How long does it take to convert to a differnt type, I used to do that a long time ago and that took forever!
