DDM Heat Shield w/ ZZP Intake

Has anyone tried this yet and if so, did the shield from DDM fit around ZZP intake? Just curious because I am planning on buying the DDM heat shield to block engine heat and help prevent potential water from getting up to the filter. Thank you!opcorn:

The folks at DDM obtained a ZZP intake and learned they do not go together.

After that, Dave Michel posted that he was working on a heat shield that would go with the ZZP intake. That was a couple of years ago so you might email Dave or Ivy and ask if that is still their intent. I have some interest in what you learn as I am using the ZZP intake.

You could also do what I did and make a sealed box for it and force feed it cold air .

I did, I had to use a Dremell too and make it fit, didn't work really we'll cause of how close the sensor is on the ZZP intake.

I used a cardboard box for the same results. exacto knife does wonders. cardboard and duct tape havent fell apart yet and cost me $0.08 to make. When they do start to spoil ill get some plastic or rubber flaps and use the cardboard as a template for something permanent.
