De chromed rs?

Hey does anyone have pics of an rs with the chrome removed/painted?? Just curious as to what it would look like.

Would getting the chrome parts in black be better then body color?

How can I go about doing this.?

I HEAR (not sure of production parts) that oven cleaner removes the chrome (it's actually aluminum)

Black is done... body color could be interesting...and for God's sake not some neon color!

Vinyl is an easy option too. Good durability and fairly cheap

I put a carbon fiber vinyl on the badges and the chrome on the doors. I will be putting it on the door handle chrome as well soon. I like the idea of vinyl bc u can choose color or pattern, easy to install, and easy to remove if u wanna change it or go back to stock for trade in.

Ty, the guy came to me for $150 and installed in one of our detail bays. Gloss black vinyl, came out better than I thought it would and it's pretty durable

Nice I looked up some vinyl shops in my area and surprisingly there are alot. I think I will go with body colored vinyl for the chrome and gloss black roof like yours. Really looks nice.
