These are pictures from the Denver Auto Show, March 21-25.
Only one Sonic HB was on display, in orange. But, for some unexplained reason, it was behind a clear plastic barrier. So those attending the show couldn't really get a close look and feel. A silver sedan was on the floor and open to observers. Perhaps this is indicative of Chevrolet thinking that there would be more sales of sedans than hatchbacks.
Unfortunately, the Sonic display was also right behind the Corvette and Camaro convertible displays, both of which drew big crowds. People tending to walk right past the Sonics after seeing the flashier vehicles. Even the new Chevrolet Malibu with eAssist on the turntable didn't seem to attract people.
Buick had the Verano on a turntable. Verano is built on the same assembly line as Sonic at Lake Orion.
