Hey everyone I have a 2013 Chevy Sonic LS sedan. Yesterday I was going through the car wash and towards the end when the air was blowing I saw my driver side exterior window trim fly off. I noticed it was loose a few months ago but I never got around to fixing it. The drying tunnel speed was just too much for it. The people working at the car wash tried looking for it but they couldn't find it. Now there is an open gap where there trim is supposed to be and I want to get it fixed before it rains.
Searching online I think I found the right part but I want to be sure. I also have no idea how to put it back in so suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
There's also a junkyard near me which shows a 2012 Chevy Sonic on the lot and I'm thinking maybe I should go take a look and salvage the trim and few other pieces that I would like to replace. Does anyone know if the exterior window trim is compatible between 2012 and 2013?
