2013 LT Sedan with 24k miles, 1.4L turbo, automatic. Was thinking of doing the V3 PCV kit - but it runs really well, except for a ticking solenoid under acceleration. No CEL. I have a new evap solenoid, wondering if I should do it all at once, re-use the old solenoid, etc.
Could a bad or going bad PCV cause the evap solenoid to open and close repeatedly when under boost?
What the chances it is only the evap solenoid and the PCV is good? I really don't want to pull the hose to check the PCV since it is so easy to break the hose to the turbo. If I do the V3 kit, the hose gets replaced.
If my PCV is not bad, would the V3 kit make the new evap parts last longer?
