Exhaust Sound

I just installed the ZZP cat-back exhaust and was thinking about doing the rest of the exhaust. How does the exhaust sound change with each piece. I really like the sound now but I don't want to get the "ricey" sound.

I thought mine sounded ricey and loud so I had the tip cut off and replaced with a turn-down. That simple replacement made a major difference.
