Finally got the Sonic trim that I wanted!!

So, I'm still pretty happy and excited. I did my research, and found the Sonic that I wanted when I bought my all-manual base model LS 2 years ago. There are maybe two more things I would have liked to add onto it (moonroof and heated seats), but my bank account couldn't justify it.
It's a 2013 LS, 6spd MT turbo, with Bluetooth/usb, cruise, power windows/mirrors (all manual before), leatherette seats, and tinted windows. 30k miles less than my old car, and falls under the CPO extended warranty. Best of all, my payments and insurance only went up a nominal amount.
The buying experience, though long (5-6 hours), was overall pleasant, I had a great experience with their financing manager, and I finally got the car I wanted all along.

Congrats.. it looks like my white LT sedan. I did not think one could get the turbo on an LS .. Very good.

Crap, it's an LT, not an LS. That's twice I've made that error, sorry. Still no turbo available on the LS.
But it certainly shifts way smoother than my old LS did!

How did you get leatherette on an LT? I thought that was LTZ-only. I'm assuming this must have been a modification by the previous owner.

I ended up going new and got a great deal. Also, the dealer called mine up from out of state so as to get the appropriate spec and still get the full in-stock-only cash back and other discounts, which was much appreciated. LT, in the color I wanted, auto turbo 6-speed, MyLink, rear camera, crash avoidance warnings.

I'm confused...are you saying your old car was all manual, not the Sonic?

I too have the LT and think the price point for that model over the small tweaks for a LTZ or RS is right on the money.

I think he's saying that his old sonic (LS Base) was all manual meaning no power windows or mirrors specifically. The new LT he replaced it with has those amenities now
