Make sure your antennae is tight, mine was loose and I gave it about 2 whole turns and my radio was fine after that.
OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH WOW!!!! I just figured out what may be your problem.
I had this issue also after I fixed the static by tightening the antennae the radio still sounded really muffled and I had to max out the volume to hear it. The problem is that every input to the radio has its own settings, so even though you cranked up the treble and bass on the USB input the FM may still be as low as it can go.
Try putting your radio into FM input and opening up the sound preferences and turning up the adjustments. See if that helps.
I have checked. The problem is that it is intermittent. On moment it will be just fine then it cuts out and gets really quiet. Also sometimes static. Here is a video of what it does: Fm Radio Problem Chevy Sonic - YouTube
Primenay13,
That is interesting, you will have to let your dealership know that if you decide to go in for this concern. I am sorry you are still having this concern. Does the radio cut out on one station or different stations in these certain spots?
