So call me old school but I still like changing oil at no more than 4k-4.5k.

That's a neat piece. Assuming you just twist and the oil pours out, and when you're done, you close it up?

Yes sir. You do need to do 2 distinct action to open it, so it's safe against leaking oil

What part # did you go with? I was looking them a couple months ago and couldn't decide on the part # to use.

I went with p/n F1060. It's a 14mm-q.5

I haven't installed it yet. Lol

I used the F-106 valve. I did not use the F-106n as I did feel that I needed the nipple on the end of the valve. It was like $26 on amazon

I know it fits because its the proper thread and its the same as another member installed.

I was going to install it, but it didn't come in time before I had to change the oil.

It will be installed the next time I change the oil.

Yeah, I was messing with you. I know they are great valves but I kinda worry that they will start leaking.

Once you get it in your hands and play with the valve and see what it takes to open it up you will feel better. Also it does not hang any lower than my belly pan so I can't imagine any road debris hitting it and ripping it off

Yeah, I'm not to worried about it. It's just something that comes to mind with a mechanical valve holding the eingines life blood in, but a lot of commercial motors use these as well.

Looks like a great idea, my first oil change is free at the dealership so I may do this on #2
