I previously owned a 2012 cruze 1LT and at 95,000 miles decided to trade for a left over 2015 sonic LTZ hatchback. I should mention I like the utility of the hatchback, but think its ugly and only bought it because it was a good deal. I much prefer the look of the sedan.
I've already added 35% 3M tint all around, weathertech vent visors and floormats and added sylvania xtravision low beams,
I've removed the lower second floor cover(the one over the spare tire) so I can have even more camping gear hidden beneath the top trunk floor. I also plan a few future mods. Hard wire my GPS and mount its mount somewhere. Not sure what GM was thinking with no second power outlet.
Things I find annoying about the sonic, The washer sprayer pattern, from the looks of things I can swap to the cruze style one. I also HATE the horn, but the cruze dual tone seems plug and play.
I'm averaging 35mpg with the sonic so far, averaged 35.7MPG with my cruze. I think over time though I will surpass my cruze MPG numbers. This 2015 engine runs 1000% better on regular 87octane fuel, my 2012 needed premium to run correctly.
