Front and rear brakes

Anyone had brake and rotor/drum problems? I have a 2013 LT turbo with 6 spd, 19k miles. Recently it developed a pulsing at driver side front when braking at speed (45+). Took to dealer and wound up replacing pads and rotors, no more pulsing. Three weeks later had pulsing at driver side rear, took back to dealer and replaced rear shoes and drums! This is the only car I've ever owned that the brakes wore out before the tires. What's up with that?

really depends how you drive. I Never use the brakes i'm 10000 miles and i check the pads and they are great. these brakes are not made to be used hard.

No but my brakes were pulsing at 45K miles.. Changed pads and rotors...the pads had plenty of pad left on them.. I assume the rotors were warped .. I suspect all the dealer tire rotations they over torque the wheels. Brake jobs are their bread and butter. *

*PS: the reason I suspect my dealer is I could not get the oil pan bolt off. I measured 50 ft/lbs on my torque wrench before the bolt stripped. If they use 50
on the 11 ft/lb oil bolt I can't imagine what they use on the wheel bolts.

the wheels always get over torqued at shops. only 100ft needed.

Yeah, keep it around 100 ft/lb... otherwise you constrain the expansion of the rotor/drums.
Also, wise braking works, don't ride them (keeping foot lightly on pedal during driving can do it), hard braking, etc...
