Front Crank Seal

Hello everyone, my 2013 w/82000 is back at the Chevy dealer having another cam shaft cover replaced. They just called and said the front crank seal needs to be replaced also for around $600. He tells me it may of been caused by excessive pressure build up as a result of the PCV issue. However, then he says it isn’t a secondary result of the primary issue and it wouldn’t be covered. Has anyone ran into this issue?

I not had any issues like this but I just did a in car engine rebuild and I replaced my front crankshaft seal when I was installing the new timing cover gasket. This is really simple and can be done in a hour or so in the car. You just need to remove the serpentine belt and the crank pulley remove the seal and install the new one. Amazon sells the GM crank seal for link 13 + dollars.
