When the car just starts you don't hear it, once the car warms up you can definitely tell. What do you guys think?

Theres a tube that goes in the back of the engine where you can hear the hissing sound the loudest my car it was just loose as **** so chances are pretty good it could be that however if the hissing is coming from the bottom of the front of the engine chances are you blew a turbo apon heavy acceleration do you have a sudden loss of power?

No loss in power. Turbo pulls good. The hissing is coming from the top of the motor. Sounds like the corrugated PCV hose connector when my hand is next to it..I plan on doing a smoke test to find out if that's true.

Really I was just asking about the engine tick. It only does it when the engine has warmed up.

Gonna be doing a PCV v3 fix here soon and see if that takes care of it. Just wanted second opinions

Old mechanics trick ---- get a short length of hose - at least 1" inside diameter ----- one end near your ear - move the other end over the motor ( like a stethoscope ) ---- notice what area is the loudest ---

Same trick when adjusting valves -- sticking lifters scream --
