I was wondering how to take off the knob on the gear shifter, I would like to replace mine with a skull but have zero clue on how to do so.
I own a 2017 Rally Sport Manual.
They are press fit and have to be pulled off with a strap. The shaft then has to be threaded to allow a standard knob to be screwed on. There is also an issue with clearance for the reverse lockout. There is an old post regarding how to modify the shifter assembly to accept a standard knob.
