Looking for some opinions or first hand experience. Just got my ESR sr07’s on today. They’re 17x8.5 with a +30.. very very happy with them. Now I went with 245/45/17’s I know I know. I like them. What I’m trying to decide isssss.. I went with 25mm spacers, now I’m about to drop her down an inch or so all around. I’m trying to decide wheather or not to suck em in with some 15mm spacers and drop er, orrrr leave it and add some fender flares? They’re pokin about 1.5” haha gonna look slick with the drop though! Help me decide!!

Are they +30 or +36? Saw you posted +36 in another thread. Also do you have any pics? I just ordered 17x8 +40 bronze Konig Hypergrams, 235/45 Hankooks - Ventus V12 Evo2, 19mm Motorsport Tech adapters, GMPP RS struts/shocks, ZZP end links, and ZZP lowering springs. I really hope they don't poke too much or rub the fender. I originally had 17x7.5 +45 gold Konig Runlites picked out, with 15mm adapters. I'm afraid that would have been perfect, but I didn't want to trim the studs, and I liked the look of the Hypergrams more. Choosing between flares or trimming the studs, I'd rather trim the studs.
They are +30.. the +36 was my first wheel choice that was out of stock with no eta of return so I went with the ESRs and I love em! Just hate the tires I chose along with the spacer thickness.. therefore the wheels are off and getting dismounted tomorrow and remounted with 225/45/17’s instead and going with a 15mm spacer. I’m really hoping I’m happy with this because the 245/45/17’s I JUST bought have about 50 miles on them so needless to say they are now for sale haha

What made you decide against the 245/45/17's?
Well I’m trying to drop the car a bit, with the 245’s the fullest amount of the sidewall is just too much with the +30.. it’s just shy of the base of spring like that, so I’m hoping that with a 225 I’ll lose about 7/10ths of an inch in diameter and then the 15mm spacer along with that will hopefully fit well. The 245’s are great tires and if they worked better for me I would for sure keep them because buying two brand new sets of tires in the matter of a week is not ideal hahaha
