I am a VW Beetle enthusiast. I've been very active on the NewBeetle.org forums since about 2003. I now own my second one and I hope to never be without one in the future.
I love airplanes and my beetles have been styled with airplane themes. My first one, a black 2000 1.8turbo model, was done up to resemble a Russian Su-47 Berkut. My current one is decorated with a tribute to the Gee Bee model Z Super Sportster racing airplane.
I just bought my wife a Sonic with the 1.8 engine. It has been painted by the dealer we got it from in a bright orange. I don't think my wife will let me sticker it up in a Bell X-1 theme...
I taught special education for about 20 years and now I run a couple of group home for adults with developmental disabilities and behavior issues.
We live in Ravenna Ohio.
