Hatchback rubbing on body panel?

Anyone else experience some paint rubbing off? On passenger side of hatchback there is contact and of course bumper to bumper just expired.

Hopefully they help me out.

You might be able to twist the little stopper a quarter or half turn to space it out. I would get some touch up paint to cover the metal cause it's not in a super noticeable area

I have rubbing in the same place, caused by the bottom of the spoiler.



Need to get around to trying to adjust it.

Did the tail gate (hatch door really) hinges get loose and shift the hatch door or is it just the bumpers that need adjusting? Is this a common problem as the car ages?

I see the clearance on most places is about 4mm to 5mm. Pretty close fit.

I got some twist in bushings from autozone meant for a car hood. Not much, but a few mm bigger. Solved my problem, I'll see if I can find a part number tomorrow.

I adjusted the little rubber bumper (Pic#4 in the imgur link) and it fixed it for me.
