Haven't Bought Yet,... Which Model Is Better?

2014 RS
VS
2017 LT Turbo

Which is better for performance, handling, etc etc etc. Also the 2014 has like double the mileage 86k vs 41k on the 2017.... Are the RS upgrades worth it? Could I get the LT and just upgrade it? Are there any features I'd be missing that would seriously effect the performace/speed/acceleration by not getting the RS version? LMK Thanks.

If I recall correctly, the RS version has a slightly different gear ratio in the transmission which is supposed to be more sporty but isn't as fuel efficient. That's the biggest difference. The RS suspension is very minor in terms of how it improves the car's handling.

You will get the exact same engine and turbo combo as well as the exact same factory tune. Which unfortunately means you'll have the exact same rev hang when shifting. Most of your performance gains will be from aftermarket mods.

Not terribly surprising as Chevy's RS models are usually mostly cosmetic upgrades while the SS models are the performance upgrades. And unfortunately, Chevy never made and SS Sonic.

I have a 14 rs and it’s mostly cosmetic . I prefer it .

If the lt has the turbo then it is all cosmetic I believe. If one has a 6 speed I would go with that personally

I got it. It's the 2017 LT with the RS package. It's got the fog lights, the spoiler, the turbo, the RS badging (although in the back it says LT not RS). Also has the power sunroof and premium audio and 16" alloy wheels. Color: Red Hot. Buying a buncha red interior accessories off Amazon.
