I have a 2012 Chevy Sonic, mileage about 48K. The heater has recently been giving me dome problems, mainly the amount of heat coming out is nowhere near as hot as it had been. I have seen some threads talking about mysteriously missing coolant and I may have the same issue. I am taking it in for a look-see this week, but I was hoping for some insight regarding warranty work. If it's the water pump, that's covered under the 5/100 warranty, but if it's the heater core itself it isn't covered. A heater core shouldn't be a problem after only less than 50K miles and I won't be a happy camper if that is the case.
Another problem seems to be that the remote start is no longer working. I have tried it with my own key as well as my wife's key. Neither work anymore.
Anyone that has any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Mark
