Hesitation/loss of power

Okay guys, only have 22K on the sonic i bought back in april of 2013...
Trifecta tune... have had Zero issues with the tune so far...

recently (with all this crappy weather) I have noticed my performance getting worse as roads have been getting salted and what not... I realized I havn't cleaned my air filter from ZZP since summer so i cleaned it up and it seemed to do the trick... but I am still getting hesitation in high gears like 4,5,6 flooring it...

for example in 6th or 5th gear i will floor it and the car kinda lugs, you can hear the BOV go off intermittently like gas is not making it to the engine or something...

plugs were gapped and everything prior to this... not sure what the cause is.. going to check CEL because I have the ZZP downpipe and BNR never did completely get rid of that code (even with the tutorial)... anyone have a word of advice? do I need to change my fuel filter??

10-4 I'm gonna grab a log tomorrow. Doesn't really do anything while driving normally just under full throttle

My memory (and experience) is ZZP uses a K&N cone filter which should not need to be cleaned before 30,000 miles. I am also aware that many reported problems arise from inappropriate cleaning, mainly not waiting for the cleaned filter to completely dry before reinstalling. All this leads to my question: did you follow instructions?

Your description of symptoms correspond to many descriptions from users who did not know or follow cleaning directions.

And so you know, Chevy Customer care is not the same as Chevy Warranty Service.

I haven't hit 30k yet I didn't clean it until a week ago to see if that was it. I'm gonna change spark plugs. It may be that, it's intermittent sometimes it will happen sometimes it won't, and well they sent me an AEM I might switch to k and n incase

Well everyone it was the ****ty AEM filter. I recharged it and the filter just started falling part PLEAse note this was installed 10k miles ago they are horrible filters I've always had K&N and never had issues idk why I didn't immediately switch it out. But if anyone is having that issue that's what was causing mine...
