How hard is it to replace the AC line?

I have a hole in my AC line where all the magical cooling goodness escaped from. The local shop wants several hundred dollars to replace it, but I can get the AC line from rockauto for $53. Since I don't have to evacuate the system, is it fairly easy to replace myself? The car is still at the shop so I can't look under the hood right now.

You can probably do it yourself. You'll still need the tools to pull a vacuum and recharge the system with the proper refrigerant and oil mixture. There may be some other good preventative things you can do while you're at it but I will let someone more experienced with A/C say about that.
