I'm looking for a computer for tuning and daily use, but I'll wait for pics and I'm curious...3 gigs of ram (Is that what it came with or did you add a gig)? Screen size and type? What Windows OS? Why is the screen new, was it dropped or did something hit the screen? And was the replacement screen factory spec or a cheap replacement? Do you have the full model number, that would make it easier to find specs.

Sorry for so many questions, I have a Samsung netbook that the screen broke, replaced it once and the replacement crapped out on me so I have no interest putting more money into it.

And to answer your questions 3GB is what it came with I have no idea why it wasn't 4Gb lol here is a pic of the RAM with the stock HP spare stickers

And the screen, laptop has been taken very well care of, the screen just went out. At first it started out as a flicker when shutting the screen and opening, then one day it went completely white. I purchased a (not hp factory) screen, but from a reputable seller and it works great, no dead pixels. The screen size I believe is a 14"? The model number is g42t-400

And upon looking at the screen I was wrong it's not the 2.43 it's 2.13GHz processor, still fast though lol sorry!
