Instrument panel on starting

This just started. When I start the car, the instrument panel automatically goes into settings mode with the car icon with the wrench inside it.
Is this cause for concern, or something I can change.
Also the intermittent wipers don't always function on the lowest setting.
Not a big deal, but definitely curious.

Whoa there, not so fast. What did it turn out to be? Even if it was brain fart sorta thing it might be helpful to post it up just in case others run into it!

Next time it happened I noticed it said code 82. I guess they didn't reset the oil gauge sensor when I got my oil change.
