So my intake temps have been really bad lately :sadbanana: while driving I've been around 15-20 above ambient and at stop lights I go up to 130 degrees pretty quickly when ambient is only 68 degrees. I'm running the homemade intake and thinking of going to the ddm intake with the shield but I was wondering if anyone has tried using reflective heat wrap on the intake? Then my idea is that someone should build a turbo blanket that covers our lil turbo and manifold all in one cause I hate that stupid stock tin cover we have.

Hmm strange, I've got an ultragauge where is it meausring the temps from??? Pre turbo I'm assuming from the temps I've seen?
My UG usually reports 4-7 degrees higher than ambient unless I leave my car parked for awhile or idle for a long time.
I've got a danny5 esque CAI into stock airbox.
A better turbo/header heat shield would be cool, might even get alil faster spool!

Heat wrapping the entire exhaust manifold setup would probably have a positive outcome, Id take it off completely, wrap it, and reinstall it. Which would probably be itchy and difficult. Ceramic coating is another idea
