Inter cooler upgrade

Was wondering if anyone installed an aftermarket inter cooler kit like ZZP. I have read someones post that used a Cruise inter cooler kit and had to modify the fog lamp casing. Was wondering if this was true if wanted to do the full upgraded inter cooler kit. I was planning on doing the upgrade soon with the trifecta tune on my 2016 RS. There is no information about this upgrade on the web so far I can tell/ Please help.

The issue here is that you have an RS. As far as I understand the RS fog lights and bumper get in the way of all the fun you might want to have. ZZP doesn't have a kit for Sonic's though it's only an inter cooler for us. The only full kits I know of are BNR, MPFab, and CX racing. I don't know as to how well they would fit your RS though. I haven't installed any of them, but I will be buying the MPFab kit towards the end of spring.

I'd also like to add that I don't own an RS and can't remember perfectly but to answer your question yes, your fog lamps might get in the way.

Does the MPFab include all that piping and hose couplers for the price? The picture of it all looks amazing.

They include all hard wear which you need. Does anyone have a pic on how much modification is needed to do the inter cooler upgrade on the RS. I do not want to take out my fog lamps. Hopefully BLUE 2014 is correct on it is only a small mod to to the upgrade without removing the lamps

I have the CXRacing ic. I do not recommend because it is NOT a bolt on kit like it advertises. Far from it, one or more of the pipes are too short iirc. For the extra money that you would have to spend to have custom pipes fabricated, you should just invest in another company. I have an RS but I remember other members with other models also having difficulty.
