Is anybody else sort of a watch geek like me?

I don't have really expensive ones, but I do appreciate a nice watch. I can kill an hour or two easily browsing watches online or in person. I love my smartphone, but it just doesn't have the soul of a watch!

Here's my tiny collection:

Festina Chrono w/ Invicta leather band (I love this watch, I think it's my favorite.)

I liked the way they looked better with their bands swapped. A lot of people dis Invictas because some of their stuff looks chintzy... I don't care- if I like it, I'll buy it/wear it.


My "beater" daily watch- Armitron skeleton automatic:

Here's the newest addition to the family- my Android blue-dial chronograph:

It's a big watch, but it looks really striking in person... and the color almost perfectly matches my WRX

I also just bought a nice Bulova, but it's to be given as a gift.

Anybody here got any cool watches?

dude those are some really nice looking watches, really liked the armitron (sp?) and that blue one.

I use to wear watches, and had a few nice looking ones. But i got out of the habit after i was medically retired from the military, so I don't really watch time any more. But i've actually been thinking of picking the habit back up, as I hate digging my phone out of my pocket to see what time it is.

I wear a self winding Seiko to work, have a stainless Seiko self winder for casual dress, and a Gruen Curvex from possibly the 40's as my dress watch. The Gruen was from my grandpa. As far as i know he had it since new.

I'm very dull cause I just use my cell phone for time. Which fails when in driving, using Bluetooth to talk in the Sonic, and the time display on the radio face goes away during calls. Hey, I need a watch!

My watch collection is at 4 right now. They're all Citizen Eco-Drives, and I love them. It can be an expensive hobby sometimes, more so than modding a car sometimes.

I can attest to that. I rarely take mine off and have beat it everyday for two years.

I also collect watches, here are a few of my favorites-

Caravelle Diamond (by Bulova), each hour is a diamond. It's really flat so I use it when I wear dress shirts (just about every week day)

Black Ceramic Invicta

my old Fossil Speedway. I haven't worn this one in forever, but it was my daily watch for like 5 years straight in the early 2000s

My Nautica, doesn't have a model name that I've ever seen, but it's HUGE. It's one of my two weekend watches.

Somewhere I also have a Relic that is a titanium case and band. Wore that a lot due to its great lack of weight.
