Well, what 2017 Cruze motor. . . there are three(?). . one is a diesel.
But basically. . would not be easy. 2017 Cruze has a 1.5L turbo and a 2.0L turbo. . . .
The 1.5L is 160HP and would probably mount in ok. . with lot's of different pipes and tubes that would be different. Also, it would be a challenge because engine wiring harnesses and other wires would be different.
Lastly. . the ECM and TCM (if automatic) would not be "accepted" by the rest of the Sonic electronic modules. . So some programming mods or hacks to modules.
Not easy to do things like this these days unless you are or know a car guru who also knows how to hack automotive electronics. Only have seen 2 guys like that in the last few years that I know and do not think they would be interested in doing a Sonic hack.
GM says the 17’ Cruze has a turbo 1.4 L so it should be the same right?

667-203 is the turbo so not a good indication.
It is possible but I bet the short block if fine and maybe even the long block.
The intake setup probably changed though and maybe the head.
Why do you want to do the swap?
I don’t want to do a swap, I want to buy the motor because it’s a good deal, and pull the Intake mani, and the Turbo to replace with my current ones, and then fool around with the ones currently on my car, and the extra motor parts.
