Thinking, what if you bought a European or JDM driver's seat (since they're right hand drive) and put it in the passenger side? So both sides would have an armrest... Wonder if their airbag regs are the same?

While I was looking, I looked at GM Japan and noticed they have a customization site for the Sonic, but my work PC is so locked down, can't view it..

Didn't the Sonic come out in other countries BEFORE coming to the US? If so, perhaps there's some cool gadgets & stuff available that haven't made it here, or some wheel styles not yet being made here...

I thought about the seat's not only for the armrest but the height adjustment as well, the only problem I see with them is blocking the cup holders in the center. Having the one on the driver side gets in the way sometimes as it is.

I do like the hatch spoiler...seems to have more definition.

Ideally I'm looking for rims... it seems nobody makes 5X105 bolt patterns...

Same problem I had with my Riviera. It's 5x115 and EVERYONE and their mamma makes 5X114.3

Well, the Cruze came out in Korea awhile before US launch didn't it?

For example, VW will have the new Golf in Germany for awhile before we see that model...

looking online, if I'm reading it right, The Aveo (in other markets the Sonic) started production around February 2011 in Korea, while North American production began around August 2011

Both are 2012's but I think Korea had it earlier, in the sense of actual sales floor traffic.

I'm pretty sure the mounting hole is on the passenger seat.

I wonder if the seat tracks from the driver seat would switch to the passenger, the passenger set is so much higher compared to mine. And the arm rest would be great, my girlfriend always takes mine.

You can raise the drivers seat...

you can raise and lower the drivers seat, there are two levers on the side the one on the bottom lifts and lowers.
