Just an idea

So, I've always wanted to do a custom paint job. I am a fan of transformers, hence the username. I found a blank drawing online and decided to color in an idea. Thoughts?

I know it is crude example to the finished product. Just an idea...

I like it!! I looked into having some airbrushing done and was scared away by the cost, so you may be better off having a vinyl made. I was quoted around $2500 and that was for just the front corners and doors....OUCH.

Price depends on what you want airbrushed, such as flames, single color ghost flames or life like flames. The skill of the artist comes into play also. If the artist is well known for doing great work, and been around a long time, he will charge more.

I was talking to a guy about 10 years ago who had his Kawasaki ZX11 airbrushed. He said the airbrushing cost somewhere around $15k. It did look awesome.

As for the application, my Sonic is already black granite. I would just add the gray and red. The stripes and Autobot symbol would be vinyl. Everything would be clear coated in afterwards. I have the stock 15" on my car as well. Theses need to go too but I don't know what I want to go with. I've seen some black wheels with a red stripe that I really like but any I've found say they aren't compatible with the Sonic.

I'd recommend going with the 17" LTZ wheels, paint them black and add the stripe.

I agree with the LTZ wheels. Overall, blac wheels with a red stripe are extremely tacky due to their popularity and subsequent usage and application to all sorts of crappy cars. They are pretty tasteless, made so by the ricer crowds.
