This was on a 2012 LS, so there is apparently no other options than an after-market cruise.
You need kit #250-9618 for the automatic, or 250-9619 for the manual.
Mine was an automatic. The installation isn't too difficult, especially with the help of a youtube video. However, the instructions are in black and white. You can download and print a color version, and that helps.
If you follow the instruction and assemble everything for a test drive before final installation, you will need to disassemble two of the plugs. This is done because the plugs are too large to go through the 3/8" hole you need to drill for the stalk. I found that the open end of a ball point refill was just the right size to release the barbs on the contacts.
I assembled everything and took a short test drive. I had plugged the plug into the OBDII plug, and I knew as soon as I started it that there was a problem. Check Engine Light, Traction Control on, etc. I figured I'd give the wire splicing method a try before I contacted Customer Service, and it worked perfectly.
