Wondering why new members must do 10 topics before seeing other topics, 8 more to go lol

I don't think it's 10 topics. Isn't it just 10 posts?

The reason (I believe) is that recently there was a big spamming issue. Spammers would create an account and then post all over the forum with advertisements and junk. The 10 post minimum is to try and deter spammers from posting and if they still do try to post then it will be isolated to one section of the forum instead of in every thread in every section.

You have to submit 10 posts (NOT new threads) to the new member forum area prior to gaining full access to the forum. Like DubbsRS said, this is to prevent spam.

They just want you to prove your human. The spammers were getting worse, then we got a full on attack. It was ugly. We haven't had spam since this was implemented, so it must be working. Thank you to the mods and administrators. You will get through those 10 posts. Hang in there.

Maybe start a thread telling us about your sonic, post some pictures of it, let everyone know what you plan on doing to it, etc.

As mentioned, it's 10 POSTS, not 10 topics or threads. And although we would prefer your posts to be meaningful, 10 individual posts with colors or days of the week will work. It's just so we can see you're human not a bot.

Hello.. not spam.. just loving my metallic black granite LTZ hatchback, even with the 6 speed automatic... trying desperately to find someone, somewhere, who has a roof rack solution.. is it possible to have rails permanently mounted, and cross bars fit/sized like a ? normal ? roof rack.. I just am reluctant to go with the options out there that clamp to the door frame.. anybody? And thanks in advance..

sorry about the hassle. this has been the only thing to work, and we went from 187+ in one day to five in the last week.

you can just post the 10 in your thread if you'd like. you have to wait one minute between each post and each post has to be at least 3 characters. please at least use a real word each post. haha
