as it states K&N typhoon intake with heat shield and K&N red Drycharger. Intake is in super shaper, filter was just washed and re-oiled 2 weeks ago. Asking 160$, buyer pays shipping

I just bought the DDM intake. Mind sharing why you're getting rid of it?

I took this and many other parts off my car since I will be a Dad again in a few months, my daughter is 4 1/2 and is used to the noise my car makes, but the newborn won't be and my fiance gets headaches very easily so intake, exhaust doesn't help seeing as I'm driving us around everywhere. Its a great product but I'm doing all I can to quiet the car down and get some of the money back since I'm going all out for the babies room with new furniture.

Definitely give dynamat a thought. Sounds like you got more important places to spend money right now but it does make a noticeable difference.

For this intake..it really doesn't make that much of a difference (I've tried numerous sound deadening/sound insulation techniques) with little change.
I do like the intake...but it definitely is more noisy....much more than any similar intake I have installed on any of my vehicles over the years.

Installed the DDM intake yesterday. Super noisy. This is my first turbo car so I'm assuming all the mechanical noise is normal. I'm used to the K&N, Volant intakes making more noise but not like I got going on with this car/intake.

Tube the intake down behind the fog...
Cooler temps(unless you live where it floods then the filter will drown)
&& far less vacuum noise from the intake IMO

To be honest since all the issues that happened late last week with the car, and the warranty issues of the part not being covered I'm not really interested in doing any further work to the car other than driving it back and for.
